| PMR's first solo album OUT ! | 09/28/2008 |  | Lovers of the 80s guitar players, Reverdy’s album « Illuvatar » has been released in July on RUPTURE music label. It’s a shred album inspired by movies musics and of course the glorious neoclassical guitarists and jazz-fusion of the 80s. Anymay, we don’t care since positive or not reviews bring the shredder’s hyper trophied ego a not inconsiderable satisfaction : « an amazing guitar play » (www.thefrenchtouch.org) ; "liters of omnipresent shred, in turn a display of swiftness then more emotion, more sobriety" (www.thrashocore.com/) ; "an album with an impressive instrumental technique" (www.pogoslam.com) ; "there is not the slighest doubt that PMR’s technique is excellent, especially when it deals with velocity. Sweepind, tapping and other guitaristic devices continuously follow on from each other (...) with an amazing instrumental virtuosity"(www.progressivewaves.com) ; "I dont’ know what was the initial aim of this CD but it would be seen as an educational DVD for guitar players" (www.heavymetaluniverse.com). "All along the album, it’s impossible not to feel your flesh creep, each note is so perfectly played and felt" (www.kaosguards.com) ; "Guitar solo is given more than is due which never stops heating between never-ending arpeggios, sweeping and so on" (www.pavillon666.fr/) ; "As you’ve already understoodit, if you are a fan of guitar players such as Yngwie Malmsteen or Joe Satriani, no doubt you’ll like Illuvatar.
